An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Lawyer to join a globally leading investment bank in the City of London for a six month contract.
About the role
The successful Regulatory Lawyer will have responsibility for assisting the bank in its implementation of MiFID 2.
Key Responsibilities include:
Preparation, advice on and negotiation of contracts required in relation to implementation of MiFID 2, including:
- Research fee agreements and RPAs (replacement of CSAs)
- Distribution and co-manufacturer agreements
- ToBs and other documentation with market counterparties and intermediaries.
- Counterparty disclosure documents
About you
The successful Regulatory Lawyer will be a junior to mid level qualified solicitor with experience in counterparty and other markets contracts. It would also be highly desirable to have good knowledge of regulatory change including MiFID 2, EMIR and CFTC rules. You will have worked either in-house at a top tier financial services firm or within private practice.
