Legal Executive

Our law firm, which is central located in London, offers several legal services in contentious as well as non-contentious areas. Our legal services are target to business and individuals. Our lawyers are trained at the best law firms and financial institutions in the UK. They are specialised in for example commercial litigation, consumer law, employment, insurance, risk management and Japanese knotweed.

We are recruiting a legal executive to assist lawyers with their casework regarding civil litigation.  We are looking for someone to run cases from beginning to end with minimal supervision.  There will be regular discussions on case strategy with qualified lawyers but the legal executive will manage the day-to-day running of their cases.  This will involve drafting including letters of claim, particulars of claim and court forms; correspondence with clients and the other side; management of litigation including ensuring court deadlines are complied with, preparing disclosure and trial bundles, instructing and liaising with counsel, preparing costs budgets, draft orders and case summaries. We will pay an annual basic salary of £30,000- £35,000 with expected bonus/ success fee of £15,000-£20,000 a year. We are looking for someone to work between 20 and 35 hours a week and will be happy to discuss flexible working arrangements with the right candidate.
