My client, a Global Management Consultancy is looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join their team on a 3-4 month basis, with opportunity to extend. This is a global company and the role offers extensive commercial experience, including international commercial contracts.
The role will sit in the UK based legal team and report in to the Head of Legal.
Role Responsibilities:
- Drafting, negotiating, and updating UK and international commercial contracts for clients, suppliers, IT service providers, and data processors
- Supporting various areas of the business including operations, procurement, marketing, sales, quality, technology, and supply chain
- Advising the business on national and international legal issues, or ad hoc litigation or employment issues
- Dealing with queries relating to compliance
Candidates of interest will be:
- UK Qualified lawyers coming from a private practice or in-house background
- Depth of commercial experience, particularly working in-house for a company in a variety of sectors
- Strong technical skills particularly relating to drafting commercial contracts
- Ability to build strong relationships with members of the business
- Experience working across international jurisdictions
- English language fluency - additional languages are appreciated
