Our client has one of the top-ranked projects practices in New York which is extremely busy and now looking to strengthen their team with associates with finance or corporate energy experience.
Their needs are at the mid-level and they are looking to hire associates with 3 - 6 years of broad-based finance, project development or M&A experience in the following industries:
- power (renewables)
- oil/gas
- natural resources (mining) and transportation infrastructure.
Spanish language skills are a plus but not required. Also, familiarity with the commercial contracts used in these industries is helpful (but not required). Associates will have the opportunity to work on a huge variety of very high-profile matters in North America and Latin America.
JD/degree from top-tier law school required. Must be a US citizen or an Australian/Canadian citizen (for work visa purposes)
If relocating, must be able to demonstrate a commitment to passing the New York bar and forging a career in the New York market
