This international law firm is looking for a data protection specialist to join its risk and compliance team. This is a newly created role which will focus on developing and managing the firm’s data protection, cyber and privacy policy. You will develop the data protection and compliance programme and ensure that the firm is compliant with the new GDPR regulations coming in November. You will manage and respond to requests, review data protection clauses from external suppliers and clients and build a regulatory framework. You will work closely with the partners and the firm’s GC, IT and security teams. You will also liaise with the international offices to ensure compliance firm-wide.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified lawyer with data protection experience wanting to in-house. You will work with an inspiring director and a great team. You will have experience with ISO 27001, data security breaches and managing investigations.
