Our client a FTSE 250 business based in Wythall is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary for a 6 month fixed term contract with potential to extend.
The purpose for this role is to provide high quality company secretarial services to Boards, Board Committees and management committees within the group.
The role involves:
*Act of secretary of meetings and provide to the Chair or attendees
*Monitor and make recommendations on the governance structure and arrangements for the Board and Committee meeting s
*Work with other members of the departments to ensure that Group companies comply with all applicable requirements
*Assist with the on-going compliance of the Groups policies
*Assist with the preparation of the shareholder meetings of the FTSE 250 listed parent companies
The successful candidate will:
*Have substantial minuting experience
*Have in-depth knowledge of corporate legislation
*Have knowledge of listing rules and the UK corporate governance code
*Be accustomed to operating in a highly regulated environment
*Have the ability to work to continually changing deadlines
*Experience of Blueprint or equivalent software package
The company will offer flexibility of working from home
ICSA qualification is advantageous but not essential, although you must have company secretarial experience at a similar level.
