Are you a physics, electronic/electrical or mechanical engineering graduate who is undecided as to which career path to follow?

Would a role where you could learn a new skill-set but utilise your technical knowledge appeal? Ever considered a career as a patent attorney?

Working with cutting edge technical innovations, patent attorneys are specialist legal practitioners who are concerned with the protection of intellectual property rights. Due to the high level of scientific and technical knowledge required, patent attorneys will invariably hold scientific or engineering academic backgrounds rather than traditional law degrees.

We are working on behalf of one of the UK’s most well-known and respected firms of patent and trade mark attorneys that is seeking to take on an ambitious physics, electronic/electrical or mechanical engineering graduate to commence the process of dual qualification as a UK and European Patent Attorney.

If you have decided that a career in academia or as an engineer is not for you and you are enthused at the prospect of embarking upon a new, exciting and rewarding career, then please do get in touch.

Ideally, you will have completed a PhD in a related subject, although this is not essential. Please note that the minimum academic requirements for this position are a 2:1 undergraduate degree and A, A, B at A Level.
