Leading practice seeks Private Family Lawyer in Essex on a permanent basis.

The Role
We are now tasked with seeking an experienced Private Family Lawyer on a permanent basis in Essex. With the skills and expertise to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision, the successful Lawyer will advise on solely private family matters to include: divorce; financial proceedings; cohabitation agreements; separation; Private Children Act matters and; drafting pre and post nuptial agreements. It is envisaged that this role will require the successful Lawyer to undertake additional travel between the practice offices as required.
Passionate about business development, the successful Lawyer will build and strength client relationships and play an active role in initiatives for the department and practice as a whole. A hands-on role with responsibility from the outset, good work-life balance and the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the continued growth and development of an already successful team. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3 – 12 years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with solid Private Family experience;
You will have outstanding communication skills and a client-focused approach;
You will have consistently strong academics;
Membership of the Law Society’s Family panel would be advantageous but is not essential;
You will have your own workload and be able to work with minimal supervision;
You will be commercially aware, pro-active and personable;
You will have a flair for business development.
