Corporate Real Estate - Property - London - Magic Circle - 2-4 pqe

Our Magic Circle client, for whom we are a preferred agent has a highly successful Real Estate practice. They are looking for an outstanding real estate lawyer with 2-4 years pqe to join the corporate real estate team. You will need to understand the corporate wrappers surrounding multi-jurisdictional property deals.

Given the scale of the deals as well as the technical skills you will need excellent project management skills to liaise with legal teams in different jurisdictions. In addition you will be well versed in big ticket, complex deals. The bulk of the practice will be advising on corporate holding structures and property joint ventures, including real estate investment trusts, Limited Partnerships, unit trusts, and open and closed ended funds. As such in addition to considering those with excellent real estate backgrounds they are also open to a corporate lawyer looking to switch in to corporate real estate.

The team is looking to expand and therefore for the right individual there are career prospects. Given the gearing in the team and the complexity of deals you will work closely with a partner on deals and be given excellent training. The team also encourages front line client exposure and BD involvement. A must is a strong academic pedigree, UK market experience and top firm background.

Those currently with a US firm but looking for a larger London/European footprint and stronger PE/corporate base on which to develop as well as people in other top tier RE firms looking for greater breadth are of interest.
