The purpose of the role is to provide professional, efficient and high quality project management of key initiatives of the Group's Compliance programme, in particularly around Data Privacy and execute key elements of the Group's Risk Management Framework.

Description
Compliance Programme Management
- Data Privacy - Project manage the EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliance working group and Canadian anti-spam legislation leading on key compliance work streams, alongside our clients legal counsel, to take a risk based approach to bring the organisation.
- Lead engagement sessions with the Division leads in marketing, HR, Information Security and Sales
- Develop policy templates including version control
- Develop training and identify elearning solution that is embedded into the onboarding processes
- Act as Global Subject Matter Expert and own the Data Privacy Policy
- Develop a calendar of activity across the Data Privacy to engage employees over the year
- Monitor compliance activities and effectiveness of internal controls conducting assessments and audits
- Manage/have oversight of Subject Access Requests and Data Breaches and responses
- Review of Privacy Impact Assessments.
- Cookie policies
- Management of the Anti-Bribery and Corruption programme, including gifts and hospitality registers and audits, training and due diligence.
- Continue to develop the global templates for Business Continuity Planning and Crisis Management.
- General activities:
- Providing 'front-line' ad hoc guidance to business stakeholders on compliance areas.
- Providing training to employees on compliance areas and conducting awareness raising activities.
- Monitoring and interpreting changes in law that will impact the business and assisting with developing new processes and drafting policies.
- Compliance project management as required.
Risk Management
Our client established its Group Risk Management Framework in Q4 2105, this role plays an important part to ensuring the Framework is applied in risk management initiatives around the Group. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of risk management, its aims, value and purpose.
- Risk analysis, including handling and presenting information in a clear and logical way, producing written and graphical reports and presentations
- Follow up on actions arising from the Risk Committee meetings
- Monitoring and assurance of material controls for Principal Risks
- Research on financial evaluation of Principal Risks
- Peer review of risk reports
- Administration of the Active Risk Management system (e.g. structuring the database, issuing passwords, setting up access and security), Training on the system will be provided but similar system administration experience would be preferable.
- Designing and running assurance programmes.
- Analysis of H&S data
- Support of the Group Authority Framework review
Ad hoc risk management queries and projects as they arise
Profile
- Experience and qualification (or in the process of undertaking) in Data Privacy management
- Excellent Project management and organisational skills
- A good understanding of the principles of corporate governance
- Good communication, influencing and people skills.
- Flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging compliance matters.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritise and resolve issues promptly and effectively in a commercial and practical manner.
- Proven ability to manage and complete projects across multiple business units and commitment to work collaboratively with numerous stakeholders at all levels throughout the organisation.
- Confident individual with a proactive attitude.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealing .
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A practical, action oriented attitude with focus on delivery is required.
