Newly Qualified Solicitor

A city based law firm has a brand new requirement for a newly-qualified Solicitor, to focus on providing advice on a range of corporate visa issues. This role focuses on providing advice within a high-volume corporate account format; you will need to be able demonstrate working in a similar type of environment, as this is a very fast paced position.

As a newly-qualified Solicitor your responsibilities will include:

• Provide advice to a range of multi-national clients regarding corporate immigration work
• Manage your own caseload of corporate clients
• Maintain and develop client relationships
• Ensure you are up to date with current legislation
• Regularly undertake audits on behalf of organisations regarding UK legalisation
• Business visitor compliance
• Completion of forms, letters and applications
• Corporate structures
• Liaise directly with the UK border Agency when required
• Support paralegals

You will be qualified solicitor with demonstrated experience from a city based law firm. Strong academics are key, as this is a top ranked team within a highly regarded firm. Some experience of immigration would be preferred, however candidates who have undertaken seats in either corporate, commercial or employment will also be considered.
