THE FIRM
This firm started small but over the last few years has grown substantially with outstanding client feedback, and invests time and energy into supporting and developing the careers of fee-earners and support staff alike. The clinical negligence team deals with a very wide range of matters including some very high-value settlements. Following a retirement, the firm is now looking urgently for a locum solicitor to start immediately and take over an existing caseload of work. The role is located in purpose-built offices with parking, in a pleasant suburban location on the northern outskirts of Leeds.
THE ROLE
You will be dealing with a general range of clinical negligence matters including some complex and high-value matters, and will be working in a small, close-knit team. You should have good experience in all aspects of medical/clinical negligence and be a confident advocate. This locum role is to cover the period while the firm is recruiting for the permanent role, so there is an excellent opportunity here to join the firm on a full-time, permanent basis if that would be of interest. Be a confident, experienced clinical/medical negligence solicitor;
