Interim Global Compliance Counsel

Global business based in the North West is looking for a Senior Compliance Counsel to start in August 2017 for 12-14 months.

An important role has arisen for a lawyer to come in as a Senior Compliance Counsel with a global remit. Working as part of a wider legal team your primary responsibilities will be to promote compliance with various anti-corruption, fair competition, data protection, and similar compliance-related laws (such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act ("FCPA"), U.K. Bribery Act, EU Competition Rules, EU Data Protection Directive).

In addition there will be a variety of interesting and important projects to lead on including the development of IT compliance platforms, board reporting and integration of new business personnel.

In this role you will work closely with business management, other compliance professionals and the group lawyers.
