Part-Qualified Assistant Accountant

This client is global law firm with offices in key business centres across the Americas, Asia and Europe. The firm employs approximately 2000 lawyers. Their London office has a headcount of circa 800 and offices in the City
 
A permanent position has opened up for an Assistant Accountant. This role will suit someone Part-Qualified who is looking to take a step up.

Responsibilities 

Preparation of monthly financial reports 

Analysis of General Ledger accounts, balance-sheet and control account reconciliations

Preparation of monthly expenditure reports 

Organising quarterly reviews; providing analysis 

Generating invoices 

Preparation and maintenance of multi-currency cash-flow forecasts 

Maintenance of fixed asset financial information 

Calculation of depreciation journals

Preparation and update of the budget/forecast for the year

Liaising with Auditors and tax specialists

Calculation of accruals and prepayments

Variance analysis and reconciliation of the Management Accounts

Candidate Profile
 
Part-Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA 

Experience of working in a partnership 

Statutory accounts experience 

Working knowledge of Excel 

Articulate, organised and flexible
