Corporate Solicitor - 1-5 years PQE

The Role This new position exists for a technically strong, personable and ambitious lawyer, looking to pursue a career in corporate finance in the long term with one of the top corporate finance practices in the South East outside London.

The team is top ranked by the Independent Legal Directories. It comprises specialist lawyers, and has an international portfolio of multi-national client companies (public and private), SMEs, owner managed businesses and start-ups with a need for high quality corporate and M&A support and advice. The team handles over 100 transactions in each year, with deal values typically ranging from the small, sub - £5m to the very large, £100m +.

The work of the team is diverse but key areas are:

• Mergers and Acquisitions (both buy side and sell side)
• Venture capital and private equity (sponsor and management team roles)
• Fundraising and equity and capital markets
• Joint ventures
• General corporate advisory
• Accelerated M & A, restructuring and insolvency
