This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Payroll Administrator to develop their career and join this thriving law firm.   You will be working with our finance team in London that expands across multiple offices around the UK. You will be supporting a direct team of 3, the Head of Finance and the wider team.   
 
The main purpose of this role will be to ensure all aspects of payroll are completed and to support the finance team with general finance related tasks. The role is an excellent opportunity for personal development and for someone to gain exposure to all sides of finance. 
 
Key responsibilities:
 
• Payroll duties including preparing monthly payroll and pension schedules; • Monthly and weekly fee earners and performance reports; • Liaise with the cashier and purchase ledger team to provide monthly financial reporting and analysis; • Supporting the preparation of the monthly and quarterly VAT returns; • Ad hoc tasks. 
 
Skills and Competencies
 
Previous experience supporting a small to medium sized finance team within a commercial organisation.  Enthusiastic and hardworking with a strong interest in pursuing a career in finance.   Intermediate – advanced skills in Excel, Word and an ability to work proficiently with finance and bespoke software systems.    An appetite to study towards AAT and experience of Sage and/or legal software would be highly advantageous.   Please send CV immediately for an initial chat in full confidence.
