Senior Agricultural Solicitor - Oxford

The successful candidate will be taking on responsibility for dealing with the firms agricultural client base. You will be a solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE who has a solid background of working with agricultural clients. The caseload will be varied and include things like estate planning, estate management, tax/ trust matters as well as potentially some elements of agricultural property matters if someone has experience in this area. A good understanding of agricultural business structures and property matters would also be beneficial.

As well as the technical side of things all applicants would be expected to show a background of actively getting involved in the marketing and business development activities of the firms in which they work as due to the senior position you will play an integral role in the development, promotion and continued success of the department.

The firm sees this role as a key strategic appointment as this is an area of the business that they would very much like to grow. They have a solid reputation in this area of law already but are ambitious to build upon this. The role may suit a current senior associate at a firm looking to make the move to a firm where they can have the opportunity to be a key figure in the development and growth of this side of the business which will guarantee excellent progression opportunities. The firm would also consider a partner level hire for the right person for a candidate of the right calibre.

The salary for this role would be dependant on experience.
