Contentious Construction Lawyer

The firm is recruiting for a Contentious Construction Senior Associate / Partner for their West End office, based close to Holborn.

The Construction Department deals with a wide variety of work for local authorities, central Government, and some private clients. The current head is due to retire within the next few months, and the firm is currently succession planning, they are looking for a lateral Partner hire or a Senior Associate who is looking for Partnership, you will work within a team of 6.

You will deal with construction and engineering disputes involving mediations, adjudication and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court. A large proportion of the work involves major construction projects for London boroughs and large metropolitan authorities.

• You will be a Contentious Construction Solicitor with at least eight years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of experience)
• Experience of dealing with a public-sector client base will be to advantage but is not essential
• Experience of managing a team will be to a big advantage
• You should have a good eye for detail and be organised
• Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an exceptional benefits package
