An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join a busy firm on an interim basis. Servicing three major local authorities, this organisation is seeking a motivated and proactive individual to act as a legal advisor on matters relating to the care and protection of adults with community care or mental health needs.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least 2 years PQE,* with a background in handling adult health and social services matters. Furthermore, prior experience working in a local authority or health organisation setting is, whilst not a prerequisite, highly desirable.

For the successful candidate, their duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
*Attending courts and tribunals, and undertaking advocacy where necessary
*Deputising for the Principal Adults Health and Social Care Lawyer or the Head of Community Services Law where required
*Develop training courses for social care and mental health workers
*Supporting the management team to build and maintain effective relationships with clients
