Hi, I'm currently seeking a Principal Childcare Lawyer to join a busy firm, with offices in Cambridgeshire or Bedfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or Barrister to lead and manage a team of lawyers to provide legal advice to a range of public sector bodies regarding their children's social care functions.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of conducting proceedings under the Children Act 1989, the Adoption of Children Act 2002 and the inherent jurisdiction of the High Court. You must also be able to demonstrate thorough understanding of major legislative issues affecting Local Government in the context of Child Law and have successfully managed a team's workload.
