Commercial Lawyer (Technology Devices) - Luxembourg
A leading digital Media provider seeks an experienced lawyer with media, entertainment, technology and IP commercial experience where you will report to the Head of Legal and work closely with business team members. You will focus on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. To be considered, candidates must have a minimum 2.1 law degree from a Leading US/EU university with a minimum of 5 years PQE gained from an International Law Firm and knowledge of digital media, electronic devices, e-commerce and consumer products

The Role
This opportunity is intellectually stimulating which offers an exciting and fast-paced quality of work where you will work as part of a legal team which supports the EU digital media and devices business unit. A Corporate Counsel you will focus on broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. You will provide day-to-day advice in a wide range of legal areas, including IT, IP, Digital Media and some element of regulatory compliance. There will be travelling required with this position and very attractive perks on offer.

Candidates
Candidates must have a 2.1 law degree with first class IT/IP legal experience with the ability to work autonomously on complex license agreements. You must have a minimum of 5 years PQE and have gained digital devices legal knowledge from a leading international law firm or in-house department of a world renowned electronic devices, e-commerce or consumer products business. The ideal candidate will have solid experience of transactions in IT/IP transactions with the ability to manage multiple projects. You will work closely with a number of highly valued clients and candidates must have a good personality and the ability to communicate in pragmatic manner. Candidates must have a love for technology, be knowledgeable of different devices and have excellent presentation and organisational skills. Strong drafting and negotiation English skills are essential with a fluency in another European language (ideally French or German) is desirable. The position is permanently based in Luxembourg but some international travel may be required.
