Commercial Lawyer

Commercial Lawyer with 3yr+ PQE is sought to join the West London based legal team of a growing specialist Software/Software Development Company that now employs around 1000 people.

As the mid-level Legal Counsel in a five person legal team, you will report to the General Counsel, work alongside a more senior lawyer and with two more junior lawyers. Responsibilities of the Commercial Lawyer will include:

• Advising on, and negotiating software licence, development and support agreements; and partner integration, revenue share and content/brand licence agreements
• Contract/template management
• Supporting bids for new business
• Managing and providing legal counsel on day to day/ad hoc legal queries from across the business
• Supporting on Compliance and Governance matters.

You will be a good team player and a down-to-earth, personable and flexible individual with an interest in technology. A UK qualified lawyer (or in the process of re-qualifying here), your post-qualifying experience should include at least some exposure to software or IT/technology contracts.
