This is a fantastic role for an ambitious 5-8 PQE lawyer looking to make their next move.
Sound knowledge of products and services delivered by the business areas and the relevant law and regulations (ideally knowledge of payment services and regulation; consumer credit useful but is small part of the role).
Key accountabilities:
- Manage legal risk and ensure that the legal function adds value to its stakeholders, giving a high class and consistent service in a dynamic operating environment (70%)
- Drive efficiencies and consistent practices, help build know how and maintain template and frameworks (10%)
- Interfacing with and supporting the central legal team (15%)
- Supporting transitioning non-complex legal work into the central legal team or a self-service model (5%)
