Paralegal job with leading law firm, Residential Property, London, Permanent, £Competitive
Your new company
This leading law firm is based in Central London and primarily services clients from the private wealth and real estate sectors. The firm is looking for a paralegal to join on a permanent basis within its residential property department.
Your new role
You will assist and support Partners and other Fee Earners within the group, as well as manage your own caseload, dealing with various deals and transactions. You will have a broad variety of duties, which will include independently meeting with and advising property investors from both the UK and overseas. You will develop your knowledge of the residential property market within the UK. You will maintain residential development and conveyancing precedents and keep them up to date, and maintain and build relationships with key industry players (including clients, developers and agents). You will liaise with clients by telephone and in writing, and conduct client meetings. You will also conduct research, prepare and draft legal documentation for sign off, and track assignments. You will gain intricate knowledge of the Asian property market and related regulations required, particularly from a new build / off-plan perspective.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong academics from A Levels, a minimum 2.1 degree classification and the LPC. You will have intricate knowledge of UK residential property conveyancing laws and regulations. You will also be updated on UK property taxation and related issues. You will have relevant experience within residential property, and have detailed knowledge of residential and development transactions.
