We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager who will support the provision of legal contracts within the General Counsel’s Organization (GCO) mainly for the Global Merchant Services (GMS) business unit in EMEA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced contracts manager, paralegal or legal assistant to join a collaborative and driven team supporting one of our most dynamic and evolving business functions in Europe
The successful candidate will be an experienced legal professional either as an experienced contracts manager, tenured paralegal or legal assistant ideally in-house within a larger organisation.
You will bring: Considerable experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts; Adaptability and flexibility- able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision; High energy and multi-tasking - able to manage and prioritise a wide variety of matters and client contacts at once in a fast-paced and evolving environment; Team worker – able collaborate, support and provide cover for colleagues as required; Proven relationship management skills; Process-minded - able to help identify and implement improvements in work process to enhance efficiency and productivity of legal work; Technology and capability curiosity required; Overall intellectual curiosity and ability to solve problems; Communication skills - able to communicate clearly, effectively and concisely with clients and senior business and GCO management; Attention to detail with an ability to recognize the most significant guiding factors; Analytical skills required; Formal legal training is desirable, but not essential.
