Our client is an international law firm with offices internationally including Berlin, San Francisco, Washington, New York and London.
The busy London office has about ten partners and 60 staff. Focusing primarily on Commercial Litigation. One area that is expanding at present is Financial Services Disputes. They act against the banks on Libor, Swaps and Forex disputes for example. But there will be other areas where banks have over stepped the line.
The ideal candidates are Newly Qualified to 4 years PQE, and could well be in a City or West End firm. It’s not impossible that West End or even regional candidates maybe more suitable for this role because a lot of the larger City firm’s litigators act for the banks and will therefore be in conflict when moving to a firm that acts against the banks.
