Locum Litigation Solicitor

Venn Group's specialist legal team are now recruiting for a full time Locum Litigation Solicitor to join a large local authority based in the West Midlands.

Our client is seeking to add a qualified Solicitor or equivalent that can provide a pro-active service to clients. This role will be based within a local authority therefore experience within the public sector is desirable however candidates with private sector experience are encouraged to apply.

This specialist litigation role will focus on insurance claims with particular focus on highways related cases. The caseload will have heavy emphasis on Employers Liability and Public Liability defendant claims and all associated litigation and advocacy. Due to the nature of the role and working environment the ideal candidate will be able to manage this complex caseload autonomously and be comfortable working on an individual basis.

This interim role has become available due to the requirement for cover of a maternity leave and will offer an attractive employment period of 12 months. The rate for this role will depend on experience and may be negotiable.
