Senior Commercial Solicitor

Senior Solicitor with commercial experience to join a leading university on a permanent basis.

Your new company
This is a world leading education establishment that has been in operation for well over a 100 years. They have close to 30.000 students with over 3000 members of staff and have a turnover in the region of £150 million. The working environment is of an excellent standard due to recent multi million pound developments taking place over the last few years and is very accessible via train and car. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Solicitor or with commercial experience to join their Legal Services Team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
Working along side the Deputy, you will play a vital role as part of a strong and progressive team in an exciting forward thinking environment. You'll be dealing with a wide range of domestic and international agreements relating to contracts from industry, public sector and higher education. You will also be contributing to the protection of the assets of the university including its intellectual property and deal with university strategy at a high level.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified Solicitor who is 5 years + PQE and has the ability too hit the ground running. You will also have excellent experience of drafting, negotiating and advising upon a full range of commercial contracts and a sound working knowledge of Intellectual Property, gained via the public sector.
