A leading Northern Law firm seek a motivated and hardworking Paralegal to join their close knit and highly regarded Debt Collection department in central Newcastle. Candidates with previous debt recovery experience are favourable, although this is not essential. It is essential however you have an interest in the field for example, those who have completed commercial topics/electives throughout University and have a good understanding of debt collection and bankruptcy should consider applying.

The Role
-You will sit within a close knit department which is made up of various fee earners including Paralegals, Solicitors, Associates and Partners.
-Once confident you will help to recover debts, negotiate payments and settlements, assist with Court proceedings, issue bankruptcy orders and help to manage wind up opportunities just to name a few.
-Full training will be provided to candidates that do not have extensive experience/knowledge in the debt collection field.

-It is essential you can prioritise your own desk and meet set deadlines.
-You will be working within a very close knit team and therefore personality is very important. You should be able to confidently fit within a new team and absorb all the training on offer.
