Corporate Solicitor / Associate – This is a rare opportunity for a corporate M&A lawyer to join a team doing some of the best ‘core corporate’ mergers and acquisitions work outside of London. The growing team acts for a range of companies across a number of sectors including niche areas such as Sports, Media and Technology.

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
• Reports to: Head of Department
• Previous experience: Ideally M&A experience gained at a respectable national or regional firm. The ideal range of experience is 1-3 PQE, though our client is prepared to look beyond this within reason.

NATURE OF CLIENT BASE

The department acts on the full range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures as well as general advisory and corporate governance work across a range of sectors. Indeed, the range and scope of the national and international work on offer is highly impressive.

Despite the level and quality of work, lawyers within the team are guaranteed excellent exposure to clients and responsibility due to the structure of the individual teams. This allows more junior associates to work on different aspects of various deals at the same time.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are encouraged to apply whatever their corporate background. Perhaps you feel stifled or held back at a top tier firm. Alternatively, you may have cut your teeth at a smaller, more boutique practice and already have benefitted from a considerable amount of client contact.
