Commercial Solicitor - Technology focus - Manchester

Experienced Commercial / IT Solicitor required for role with leading national law firm, to be based at their Manchester office. Salary upwards of £45k dependant on experience.

The Commercial team in Manchester advise PLCs, other large corporations, and public sector bodies on IT procurement, managed services and outsourcing, cloud based solutions, technology development and exploitation and intellectual property protection and enforcement

Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial / Technology Solicitor to the team in Manchester. The department is well-established and highly regarded in both the local market and nationally.

You will have a minimum of 2PQE ideally gained with a national, reputable regional or city practice, backed up with strong academics. A Commercial Contracts or IT focus is going to be beneficial in this role. You will have solid experience of negotiating contracts with suppliers and customers. A keen knowledge and awareness of technology is important in this role. Likewise you also need to be an outgoing and personable individual who works well within teams, with good client care skills.
