Our successful global law firm client is looking to recruit an HR Manager to cover maternity leave for a period of 6-12 months. The HR Manager will be responsible for all the day to day operational HR requirements for the London office, and will provide oversee the line management and development of two HR Coordinators.

Responsibilities for the HR Manager will be diverse, including:

  • Acting as the go-to person for London specific HR policies and procedures
  • Manage the immigration and visa administration process, working with the Global Mobility team
  • Providing budgetary information and ensuring spent is in line with budget
  • Overseeing maternity, paternity and flexible working processes
  • Monitoring the absence management process
  • Assisting with the salary review and bonus processes

The ideal candidate for the HR Manager role will be degree educated and CIPD qualified. Previous HR experience within a law firm environment is essential, along with proven people management skills and strong relationship building skills. You must be confident, proactive, results-driven, and able to come in and hit the ground running. The contract will be for between 6 and 12 months and you must be able to commit to the full duration of the contract.
