Global legal practice with 50 offices across the globe is seeking a mid to senior level Construction Lawyer for busy London office to join leading disputes team to advise on high-profile projects.
The firm provides the world's corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service. Recognised for sectors: financial institutions; energy; infrastructure, mining and commodities; transport; technology and innovation; and life sciences and healthcare.
The city firm is pioneering some of the largest scheme developments working with major developers, owners, contractors, financial lenders and all other stakeholders in the construction and engineering industry.
Highly regarded for the extensive experience including commercial and industrial real estate; rail, road, port and airport infrastructure; waste, water and energy facilities; power generation facilities; oil and gas facilities; mining; and ancillary transport and logistical facilities.
They are looking to expand their construction and infrastructure team in London to assist with advising on national and international construction, maintenance and operation contracts as well as bespoke contract forms and project agreements.
Skills and Experience
* Experience acting for commercial clients in contentious construction and infrastructure matters at a leading global firm
* Strong understanding of a client's commercial outlook
* Contentious experience including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and international ADR
* 5 years experience in the infrastructure sectors
* A familiarity with project financed infrastructure projects
* Experience with major standard domestic and international forms of construction contract (JCT, NEC and FIDIC)
