A busy Local Authority in East Anglia is currently recruiting for an Interim Legal Practice Manager.

This position can be expected to last for a minimum of 3 months with the possibility of an extension. You will have a background in legal practice management at either a firm with local, regional or national coverage or within Local Government.

This is an opportunity to take responsibility for multiple aspects of the Legal Department from evaluating current practices and procedures including personnel, operations and financial savings. You will also be responsible for the case management system, Lexcel and SRA compliance and overseeing business support.

  • Produce a business continuity plan to develop working practices and procedure
  • Manage and improve all financial matters to include budget setting
  • Introduced new, streamlined processes to improve service deliver
  • Develop a business continuity plan and conduct performance reviews
  • Involvement in HR functions to include recruitment of new staff
