Our client, leading City and international practice, has a unique opening for an experienced lawyer to move into a newly established role, reporting to the firm's Head of Knowledge, which will focus on the impact of the tech and digital revolution on the firm's business and client base, and analyse what the changing tech / digital landscape means for the firm's clients and the markets in which they operate. This person will build and share knowledge within the business on a wide range of legal and regulatory developments including, to name just a few examples, artificial intelligence, robotics and drones, blockchain, virtual reality, and so on. This person will work across all of the firm's sectors, working closely with other Knowledge lawyers as well as dealing with fee-earner queries and helping to deliver training to clients. Applicants for this position will have extensive fee earning (or fee-earning and Knowledge) experience in advisory or transactional work, ideally from a comparable leading firm. Lawyers need not come from a technology focused fee-earning background, however they must possess a strong understanding of, and interest in, the on-going tech and digital revolution, and its impact on the legal sector. Ideally this person will be full-time, but people wishing to work flexibly will also be considered.
