Company Commercial Partner

Our client is a long established but progressive 11 partner firm based in Hertford and Harlow. Their fee earners are all specialists in their respective fields and they act for a wide range of commercial, private and public sector clients. They are accredited as an Investor in People (Gold) and hold the Lexcel Practice Management Standard.

Due to continued growth in the company commercial practice they are looking to recruit a salaried partner with a view to future equity.

The position represents a great opportunity for a senior solicitor or salaried partner to take over as Head of Department to lead the development and expansion of the firm and enhance their client base. You will naturally be enthusiastic and committed, able to take a flexible attitude to work and keen to contribute to the growth of the firm.  

Ideally, candidates should be able to competently and confidently lead corporate transactions and be experienced in a wide range of non-contentious corporate work including mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, joint ventures, LLPs, partnerships and corporate finance. Experience of commercial work an advantage;

A strong commitment to working in Hertfordshire and adjacent counties is desirable. A natural ‘self-starter’, the candidate should also feel comfortable in a range of business development activities.

The role would suit a senior associate or junior partner tired of commuting into London, or whose career has flat-lined at their current firm.

There is no requirement for a following for this position.
