In-house Law Costs Draftsman - Manchester- up to £27k

Are you a Costs Draftsman with previous experience in Legal Aid Costs? Or maybe you have an interest in Family law and Housing? I am currently recruiting for my client, a respectable Solicitors practice with offices on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre. They deal with a variety of types of cases from Divorce, Child Care, Wills and Probate to Commercial Property and Residential Conveyancing; they are currently looking to appoint a Draftsman to join their existing in-house Costs team.

To be successful applicants need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Costs. Familiarity with Legal Aid is desired although candidates with experience in Civil and Commercial Costs will also be considered. Ability to draft Costs Schedules and Inter partes Bills and conduct negotiations is essential; Advocacy and familiarity with CostsMaster software would be desired.

The firm offers work in an office with positive environment and friendly atmosphere. The salary for this role is circa £23,000 and 27,000 and will be offered depending on experience.
