Family Solicitor / Legal Executive - Head of Birmingham Office

A well established and very strong regional practice is undergoing the next phase of its strategic expansion plan and is now actively looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor to its new Birmingham city centre office.

With around 150 staff spread across a number of offices throughout the West Midlands and Worcestershire, this firm provides expert legal advice across the full spectrum of legal disciplines to both individuals and businesses alike.

This role is different as it is not just limited to dealing with privately funded family fee earning as a significant aspect of the role will be to undertake business development, marketing the department and leveraging off your contacts to open up new revenue streams, so this opportunity really does allow you to make your mark on the firm and build upon its already considerable market share.

You will ideally be an experienced family solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and will have experience of dealing with the full remit of family work. Experience of dealing with high net worth financial matters would be advantageous but is not essential and the same goes for any following or part following that you might have, although any clients that would port over with you would of course be looked on favourably.

What is important is that you are confident of working autonomously and will be comfortable working on your own whilst handling the responsibility of kick starting a new city centre office within the firms long established network. You will be encouraged to grow the team and will be able to make hires as the office expands and the client base expands.
