Solicitor - Private Client

Tors client law firm has a leading Trusts & Estate team advising high net worth individuals, landed estates, land owners and farms both in the South West and further afield.

They are seeking a 3-5 years PQE Private Client Solicitor to join this established team and undertaking high quality, varied work.

The role will involve advising on all aspects of Will drafting, Estate administration, estate planning advice (in particular IHT planning and mitigation and advising on APR and BPR), trusts (taxation, drafting and administration), elderly client matters and providing support to their Contentious Trusts & Estates team.

In addition to acting for high net worth individuals, business owners, executors and trustees, the Trusts & Estates team forms an important part of the firm’s Rural and Agricultural Sector and they act for a large number of farmers and landowners in the region. Agricultural and rural client based knowledge and experience, as well as business development experience and good contacts with South West accountants, IFAs and land agents will be an advantage.

You should have the ability to work with a full private client caseload and to provide a profitable contribution and add value to the work of the department, actively identifying cross-referral opportunities. You should be a team orientated and forward thinking lawyer looking for real scope and progression.
