Working to a large local Authority in the centre of Winchester - this role is demanding, very busy and one of responsibility. You will enjoy a pleasant working environment within a supportive team where you skills and position will be valued. Important to note, this a 2 year seconded position in the first instance.

Your new role
The role is designed to assist in the administration and enforcement of all aspects of the Authorities licensing functions principally relating to legislation around private hire operations (ie Taxi's), gambling, sale of alcohol, regulated entertainment and street trading permits. The role is responsible and will suit an individual with strong articulation and communication skills - you will be organised with proven administration skills and be able to work in a small team effectively.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of working within a regulated environment will be of use along with knowledge of the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005. You will have strong administration skills and an enthusiasm to work with the public and improve process accordingly.
