Compliance Manager

An award-winning entertainment and technology business, based in Cambridge, is looking for a Compliance Manger to act as a crucial part of their team. The role would be perfect for someone with an ICA qualification and significant experience of managing compliance programmes, ideally within the Technology sector. Salary is dependent on individual experience, although in the region of £50k.

This exciting and innovative business creates products that are used all over the world, and continuously drive the industry forward by maintaining a creative and people-driven working environment. They are well known and highly regarded within the sector, and have won a number of industry specific awards over the past 10 years.

Whilst the successful Compliance Manger will work autonomously within the business, they will report into the General Counsel, and work collaboratively with the rest of the legal team. The role will involve assisting with the development and implementation of a compliance monitoring programme, ensuring that compliance procedures and controls are up-to-date, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and advising the In-house legal team on any changes, training colleagues across the business on compliance matters, assisting with the risk assessment process, reviewing due diligence information, and preparing reports on compliance and regulatory issues.

Applications are invited from Compliance Managers with experience in the Technology, Entertainment, and Games industries. Candidates will ideally have experience working in a stand-alone or highly autonomous position, and will have the confidence to manage their own workload and provide support to other business units. It is preferred that candidates will also hold an ICA qualification.
