Private Client Partner - HNW Tax & Trusts

A renowned Legal 500 listed national practice is entering the next phase of its expansion so wishes to make a strategic hire at partner level in the Private Client Team at the firms' Birmingham city centre office.

The firm has a significant presence throughout a number of regions and is now looking to considerably expand its offering within the Midlands market with the emphasis being very much on the high net worth private client sector. As such, the practice is inviting applications from experienced private client solicitors to join the partnership.

The Private Client Team specialises in dealing with tax, trusts and wealth protection initiatives on behalf of high net worth and ultra high net worth families. The team is well regarded nationally and its members are ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers as being leaders in the sector.

This opportunity differentiates itself from others in that the partners here work as an aligned group and the philosophy is very much that clients come first with management coming a distant second and politics being absolutely left by the way side. The firm operates a flat structure and will absolutely not tolerate any form of arrogance or pomposity, preferring to allow its partners to demonstrate their individual skills and talent without fear of them being shackled, which you might be experiencing in your current role.

This is the perfect opportunity for a partner who is keen to secure a fresh challenge and join a practice that can offer a different and innovative way of working. Equally, the firm is keen to hear from senior associates who have worked at high calibre firms and are keen on taking the step up to partner level by demonstrating their technical expertise and their appetite for business development. Either way, this role will provide you with the freedom and autonomy to grow your practice area and really make your mark on the sector.

The remuneration package is excellent and the firm is regularly recognised by a number of bodies as being one of the best practices to work for given its' strong reputation for providing one of the most open, supportive and collaborative environments around.
