Senior Corporate Lawyer, Investment Company, UAE

• 3 – 8 Years’ UK PQE (or equivalent)
• Blue chip corporate caseload
• Gulf regional experience ideal but not essential

Our clients is one of the leading investment houses in the Middle East region. Their aim is to provide a diverse range of products and services to their clients and to contribute towards the economic development of the GCC and Middle East.

Due to the success of the business and increasing demands on the legal division the need has now arisen for an experienced mid-level corporate lawyer to join the established legal team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the appointee will provide corporate legal advice throughout the business and work closely with the investment team.

For this position, it is anticipated that you will be a 3 – 8 Years’ UK PQE (or equivalent) lawyer and will have strong corporate international experience, either in private practice or in-house, and be most likely working with multimillion dollar projects.  The successful candidate will be expected to be very much a ‘hands on’ lawyer and will need to be most comfortable working within a multicultural environment. He or she will need to be self-motivated and must be able to work unsupervised.

Previous working experience in the Middle East and the ability to speak Arabic are not required for this role although would be highly desirable.
