Housing Disrepair Solicitor - Head of Department
Opportunity for a Housing Solicitor / Legal Executive to head up a new department for a Greater Manchester based practice.
Ideally you will have 2 years' experience within housing haw and have experience of representing both landlord & tenants. The majority of the work will consist of representing tenants so experience within public housing law will be advantageous however private funded work will also be considered as you will also represent a small number of housing associations.
Work will include issues such as Anti-Social Behaviour injunctions, possession claims, disrepair, Housing Benefit Tribunal action and Homelessness matters. You will be dealing with matters from inception through to trial so you will be able to undertake your own advocacy.
Salary for this housing law role will be based on PQE level however you will be looking at a salary of circa £30,000 for qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives plus an added bonus scheme.
