Information Governance Lawyer

Information Governance Lawyer required to join a local authority based in Hertfordshire for an initial 3 month period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Information Governance Lawyer to join a large local authority.

The successful Information Governance Lawyer will be crucial in assisting the Local Authority with the following issues;

• Data Protection
• Advise on disclosure of information
• Subject access requests from police
• Redations
• Deal with complaints from the ombudsman and with the Information Commisioner

Any previous experience of working within a local authority would be highly desirable for this role, although not at all essential. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling information requests in a professional manner.
