Our client, a highly regarded international City law firm is urgently seeking a commercial IP/IT Lawyer for up to 3 months whilst they recruit on a permanent basis.
The successful individual will be a general commercial lawyer with knowledge of drafting commercial agreements, such as agency agreements, supply and distribution agreements, outsourcing agreements, and R&D agreements.
The individual should ideally also have experience (or at least familiarity with, although consideration will be taken of the applicant's PQE in this regard) data protection and privacy work, such as drafting, reviewing and advising on privacy policies and advising on the applicability of the principles in the UK Data Protection Act and the forthcoming GDPR to commercial situations; and intellectual property, such as the drafting and negotiation of IP licences and assignments. Recent experience gained in private practice at a Top 100 or international law firm is essential.
Due to the urgency of the role, you must be available immediately or at very short notice.
