Industrial Disease Solicitor

My client is a well-respected national law firm, which is looking to appoint an Industrial Disease Solicitor at its Wirral office.

The practice provides advice in a wide range of specialisms, including industrial disease, clinical negligence, and personal injury. In addition, the organisation is going from strength to strength, and has been recommended by The Legal 500 within both personal injury and clinical negligence.  

My client can offer you a generous salary up to £40,000, depending on experience, and an excellent benefits package. This includes 23.5 days’ holiday, flexi-working hours, a pension scheme, corporate gym membership, childcare vouchers, and a cycle-to-work scheme.

About the role

This firm is looking for an experienced industrial disease solicitor with four to eight years’ PQE, who has a solid knowledge of dealing with industrial-disease, litigated matters. 

In this position, the successful solicitor on the Wirral will be working within a thriving and successful team, and managing their own high-value, complex caseload. This includes vibration white finger and asbestosis cases, through to the issuing of proceedings and trial. Your role will also involve drafting key court documents, including Schedules of Loss.

In addition to the above, this legal position will be able to offer you great support and development opportunities in the department, through your ability to set up processes, and coach and support other solicitors.

The salary for the position is in the region of £40,000, depending on experience, and this is a full-time, permanent role.
