Another exciting and eye opening opportunity for a Legal PA to support one of the top 3 Reputation Management / Defamation Partners in London. This will mean daily support of someone who's only desire is protecting the reputation and privacy rights of some of the UK's most well-known people. From Sport Stars to Rock Stars, Businessmen and Politicians, you will be at the heart of making sure the press and tv don't intrude into their personal lives.

This Legal PA role isn't just the norm, or for the faint hearted, but it is, by far and away one of THE roles of 2017 so far.

Legal PA: Successful candidates will have worked in a similar legal environment for a number of years, ideally within Litigation. You will have the ability to use your initiative to pick up unfamiliar work quickly and be proactive in anticipating the needs of the team. Hence why experience in the legal sector is key with familiarity of the range of work and type of documents that are typical.

 

Legal PA Duties include:

  • Effective communication and seamless Legal PA support for fee earners and their clients
  • Day to day diary management
  • Travel arrangements including international travel and hotel bookings; creating complex itineraries
  • Processing expenses using Chrome River
  • Transcribing dictations from BigHand
  • Opening new client files and updating the client management database (InterAction)
  • Resolving account queries and assisting in the monthly billing process
  • Filing (both electronic and hard copy)
  • Assist with the production of bills using our finance and time recording systems (Elite)
  • Team working
  • Throughout your time with the firm, you will be encouraged to focus on your own skills development needs, and seek up-grading training on a continuous development basis.

Legal PA: You will ideally be educated to 'A' level standard and hold a secretarial diploma (for example, CILEx or equivalent). You will have a fast typing speed (65 words per minute) and will have developed advanced IT skills.
