NEW ROLE - Professional Indemnity Solicitor - 12month FTC

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor to join a market-leading and highly-regarded Professional Negligence team within a national commercial law firm. To be based in their Manchester office, with salary upwards of £40k. This is a maternity cover contract for 12 months.

Our client is a leading UK-based law firm, who are renowned as a good firm to work for. The firm has a strong sector focus with expertise in agriculture, charities, education, food and beverage, health, insurance, private wealth, real estate investment, sport and technology. The team in Manchester handle complex professional negligence matters, acting for the insurers of professionals including solicitors, accountants, brokers, product designers and architects.

To cover a period of maternity leave, they are looking to bring a qualified Solicitor into their Professional Negligence team in Manchester. There is potential the role could go permanent in due course.

Ideally you will have at least 1PQE in Professional Negligence/ Professional Indemnity, with your training and experience gained at a national or recognised regional law firm, backed up by strong academics. I would also welcome applications from NQ commercial litigators from top tier firms who are interested in moving into this area of law, and also to Solicitors who would be open to relocation from London. You will be someone who has strong client care, technical and teamworking skills, and also be keen to contribute to the further marketing of the department and wider firm.
