Fast growing London law firm is looking to hire a new Plot Sales Paralegal who will be tasked of managing their own caseloads with over 100/150 ongoing at any one time.  You will undertake the overall responsibility for dealing with all administrative aspects of the firm’s plot sales cases, negotiating and concluding missives for plot sales, drafting and preparation of relevant legal documents for including drafting Deeds of Condition/Development Management Schemes, the supervision of work of paralegals/junior team members, have involvement in business development activities linked to the team’s, the department’s and the firm’s strategic plan, in particular the winning of new plot sales work for existing and new clients, understand knowledge of sales incentive schemes (such as Help to Buy and equity sharing arrangements), matter progression including liaising with both borrower’s solicitors and bank, amending standard form security documentation to tailor to each matter, producing regular reports, completion of standard form reports on title, initially under supervision of partners and the registration of charges at Companies House and Land Registry.  Applicants must possess a Law degree or equivalent qualification ILEX/FILEX/CILEX, have experience of working with conveyancing processes and procedures particularly in the context of plot sales transactions is essential, strong customer facing skills, be PC literate and proficient using MS products, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a “can do” attitude approaches all work with enthusiasm, responsible, flexible and adaptable – ability to work across multiple projects and activities and take personal responsibility to learn on the job and keep knowledge up to date.  This is an opportunity second to none in terms of taking on huge levels of responsibilities at a top London law firm.
